This message is for those folks who have signed up with the Follow By Email gadget posted on this blog: As of July 1st that feature is going away. The only way to follow the blog now is to look at it regularly to see if there is a new posting or anything new on the events calendar. This is true for all Google Blogger blogs.
This is NOT related to the group emails that Tom Gilbert sends out with information on our painting dates. If you are getting those emails from Tom you will continue to do so. This only affects the Follow by Email feature on this blog. We hope you will continue to check the blog for new posts.
We recently started a Facebook Group and the events are also posted on there and members post their work and communicate via that group also. We hoped more people might post their work and share information on FB as it is easier and quicker to do that on FB than on this blog. The blog however is better for a more lengthy post so we do think it is valuable also. Our Facebook web address is at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/506786597020159
If you would like to be a member of the FB group just request that on FB. Once you are a member you can post on our page. If you want to post on this blog just send me a gmail email address and I can invite you to be a blog author. dgwafer@gmail.com.
So while there will not be a Follow By Email feature on our blog anymore there are now 2 places to search for members postings and upcoming painting events. And again if you currently receive emails from Tom with information about upcoming painting dates, etc this does not affect those emails and you will continue to get them. Pat
