Had a good group and a beautiful morning to paint at Paoli. Here's my painting of the sugar river. I wasn't quite happy with my onsite effort so I repainted it rather substantially at home and came up with this. I had some value problems with my first effort which often seems to happen when I'm painting a back-lit sunny scene.

Nice water reflections and I really feel the bright sunshine on the river bank. It was a really nice day painting there.
