This is a painting I did at Indian Lake on February 22nd, so it must be a winter painting. But it was 68 degrees with no snow. So I'm calling it a fake winter painting (where have I heard that before?). I may have got a bit sloppy with this one but I think it somewhat captures the atmosphere of the day.
Tom
Tom, it's not sloppy at all, it is a very good etude, very fresh and convincing. I really like it!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great, Tom. Like the tree line in the back a lot and it really has a sense of depth and space. Like the knife work in the foreground, too. It was fun to be out painting with you again!
ReplyDeleteI love all the contrast and saturation. Color is hard to find in Feb. Very Nice
