Plein Air Painting: Donald Park Tuesday August 2nd (Please Note: this is a change from Wednesday due to the excessive heat forecast for that day. Tuesday will be warm but not seriously hot so we changed the day back to the original Tuesday. Sorry for the confusion but mid to high 90's is not the greatest for plein air painting. Hope you can make it!!

 We will paint at Donald Park (see events calendar for map & details) next Tuesday starting at 5pm to sunset.  There are restrooms at the park.

Vilas Park Outing

Here's my painting from Vilas. I admit I "chased the light" on this one, but the light kept getting better, so why not?

July 14 Outing - Vilas Park

Hello All,

Our next plein air painting outing will be Thursday evening on July 14th (about 5 pm start) at Vilas Park.  And let’s gather primarily at the west end of the park near the stone bridge or shelter on the pond, or the lake shore near there.  I had actually wanted to do a bit of exploring for new painting sites this year but I’ve recently got caught up in a home remodel project that has sort of turned into the project from hell.  So I haven’t been getting out much.  But Vilas should do. And if anyone has painting location suggestions, please let me know.
